Not a great stay.

The indoor pool was relaxing, and the hot tub was a nice way to unwind after a long day. Just a heads-up, there was a bit of a wait at check-in, but it didn’t take away from my overall experience. 😊

The food at breakfast was more than adequate, and the staff provided a warm dining experience. The large, free parking lot was a plus. However, the system crashed during check-in, causing delays and frustration. The room lacked the expected elegance and had a clogged shower drain. The food prices in the restaurant were surprisingly high, especially for drinks.

Not for the faint of heart

The staff tried their best to help but the system was clearly overwhelmed and I felt for them. One manager dude stepped in to grease the wheels a bit which was nice but that’s about it.

It wasn’t exactly a cheap stay but you know. sometimes, you gotta roll the dice.

Unexpected challenges but friendly staff

The indoor pool was a hit with my family, and the staff's willingness to assist us made our stay better despite the drawbacks.

However, our room had lingering foul odors, and the elevators were frustratingly slow, leading to long waits with our luggage.

Upon checking in, we faced a delay of over two hours due to our room not being ready, which compounded with a fire alarm resulting in an evacuation that left everyone feeling cold and confused. The pool and hot tub were in less than desirable condition, with visible debris and overcrowding, including small children in the hot tub despite safety concerns. Additionally, our room featured a shower with a clogged drain that took ages to clear. it became a frustrating experience when a staff member commented that they received multiple complaints about that specific room but hadn’t addressed the issue yet.

i stayed here for one night and found the beds very comfy. the value for money was great, and the staff were helpful in extending my stay. compared to my last experience at doubletree by hilton, this hotel was quite satisfying, especially with its more relaxed vibe.

Had an awesome time with friends! We visited a local beach and enjoyed some great food at nearby restaurants. The staff was friendly, and our rooms were comfortable. Keep in mind that breakfast options can be pricey, so exploring local diners is a good plan.

Would recommend for a weekend trip

Spacious room, comfortable bed, great amenities, and the free parking made our stay enjoyable, especially with the easy access to the indoor swimming pool and fitness center available on-site.

the hotel staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the location was perfect for exploring the beautiful, nearby crocker park and enjoying a leisurely stroll through Cahoon Memorial Park, which offered lovely views and relaxing vibes.

Wyndham Garden Westlake has a charming lobby with comfortable seating areas that felt very welcoming. The staff were attentive and made me feel like a valued guest, which greatly enhanced my stay during my visit.

More accessible amenities for seniors would be helpful.

I enjoyed the warm welcome with delicious chocolate chip cookies right at check-in! The indoor pool was a blast and a perfect way to unwind after a long day of exploring. Plus, having a fridge in my King Room made snacking a breeze while I relaxed in the comfy bed.
